Spiders and Sparrows

It's not going to stay this cold forever,
Shooting lines from the equator,
Right through my central chest area,
Careful not to crack a rib.

Before the dawn,
You have to kiss me one more time,
Like a sparrow,
Careful not to make my lips bleed.

Spiders make homes in my hair,
But I only want to see you happy,
I only want to hear your voice,
Careful not to cut through my skin,

Pallor returns,
Like the dusk,
Say goodnight,
And I fade like a flower in fall.
